Intelligent robots will work with humans to begin

For a few years the robot continues to experience rapid development and almost like a human. Trend robot resembles a human being became popular everywhere, since the emergence of film Star Wars, Terminator and Transformers. However, the humanoid robot that just is not popular in the eyes of the robot maker.

"The robot is a machine with two eyes and four limbs? now is the time to think again. "Said the robot company ABB. Why is that? Yes, because ABB is developing the concept of robots that have sensors that allow it to work effectively without having near human like a human. The robot can work better and get more specific task than merely follow or imitate human movement.

Robots in popular culture is a humanoid shadow (like humans) but over the years, evolving robots are not exactly robot resembling a human.

For example the current U.S. military has deployed thousands of portable robot, which resembles a miniature tank, to search for explosives and perform other dangerous tasks. iRobot has sold millions of Roomba floor cleaning robot, surgeons also have to rely on robotics to perform the operation, and the automotive industry began using robots since the 1960s.

Robots are used in virtually all industries. Even in agriculture also have started using the robot. Stanford University is developing a device that can scan a row of vegetables to determine whether or not pests of plants infected.

Make robots look and act like human remains will not be abandoned and the area of research will continue to be developed, of course, characters like C-3PO is famous in the movie "Star Wars" has inspired a lot of engineers to work in artificial intelligence. But slowly and surely, Robot starts to become commercial products reaching the market, such as a car that uses radar to alert drivers to the collision.

"The robot users may not care whether the robot is cool or not, they only care whether the robot has completed its work anything yet." Said Rodney Brooks, robotics expert and CTO of Heartland Robotics manufacturing companies.

While much of the robot which is designed to replace human labor, are now starting to appear that the movement of the robot can work by side with humans.

Last fall, the National Institute for Standards and Technology is conducting tests to ensure the safety of the people who work next to robots. A growing trend today is to create robots that are intelligent enough and able to work by side with humans.
